General questions

Which Visa M categories do you support?

We currently assist with spouse, permanent-partner, and investor categories. Each category has a separate overview page on this site.

Do I need to be in Colombia to apply?

Not always. The applicable submission and document steps depend on the applicant’s circumstances and current government procedures. We work remotely with applicants worldwide.

Can you authenticate and translate my documents?

We coordinate these steps where they are part of the agreed scope. Requirements vary by issuing country and document type.

Are you a law firm?

No. MyVisaUSA is a private bilingual consultancy. We are not affiliated with the Colombian government, an embassy, or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Can you guarantee approval or a processing time?

No. Government authorities control review, requests for information, timing, and the final decision.

How do meetings work?

Initial consultations and subsequent communication can be conducted by text, phone, or video, depending on your preference and location.

Do you support applicants outside the United States and Europe?

Yes. We support applicants worldwide. The country where documents were issued determines many authentication and translation steps.

Official information
